I purchased a new home that was a flip and since I walked in the door have had nothing but problems with the HVAC. In a matter of months I have called SG Heating & Air a handful of times. During the hottest two weeks of the summer we were without AC. Scott's team at SG Heating and Air provided me with window AC units to keep my house cool while they resolved my issues. Next I was having issues with humidity causing the air ducts to drip water in my laundry room due to an improper install by the house flipper. Scott's team once again fixed my issue and installed a dehumidifier in my crawl space. Next the fan in my furnace was rubbing against an electrical wire and severed the wire cutting power to the furnace on one of the coldest days of the year. I called Scott's emergency line and he sent someone out at 11pm and I had heat within the hour. My most recent issue was on the coldest day of the year when the drain line for my condensate pump (which was installed incorrectly by the home flipper) froze where it drained outside. Once the line froze the pump automatically turns off the furnace. I called Scott's emergency line late at night and Scott himself called me back. He did not have anyone available due to the extreme cold with numerous customers needing attention. Instead of leaving me and my family freezing in the cold Scott talked me through step by step how to temporarily fix the issue myself so my heat would click back on until he could send someone out the next day to complete the repair. I crawled into my crawl space with Scott on speaker phone and Scott step by step instructed me how to cut the power to the pump, cut the drain line with a knife to bypass the frozen line outside, and set up the pump to drain into a bucket in my crawl space. Once the line was cut and draining into the bucket the furnace turned back on and we once again had heat for the night. Every step of the way Scott has come to my rescue to fix the issues the home flipper unfortunately left for me. Scott is the type of person who gives you hope that not there are still honest and respectable contractors out there. I will never use another Heating and Air contractor other than SG Heating & Air.

All I can say is Honest. They got my furnace up and running. Went out of their way to find the part I needed. Informed me that the part was still under warranty. Saved me money. Thanks SG.

We had our central heater, air conditioner, and water heater replaced. The work was carried out efficiently and everything is working well. In addition they resolved a problem that we had with uneven heating in some rooms in our house.

Have been a customer of SG for over a decade and they always meet/exceed expectations. I had interviewed 3 different HVAC contractors when I needed a new system. My questions were generally pretty normal but threw a bit of a curve when I asked each could they provide a system that would allow me to cool the house to the mid 60 degrees when the temperature was 90 plus. Most hesitated and hedged, but Scott, the owner of SG explained how systems worked, but that it could be accomplished. Even though they were not the "low bidder", I appreciated his expertise and honesty and went forward with them. Have never been disappointed. He subsequently installed a generator and tankless hot water heater. All have worked great. Highly recommend their maintenance contract as well. They perform the maintenance and tune up twice yearly and keep everything going. SG's owner, technical field staff and office personal are excellent and very customer oriented. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Update: 5/1/24 YEARS OF TOP LEVEL SERVICE DEPENDABILITY!!! Thanks Again, Scott and Team for ABOVE AND BEYOND service. The level of knowledge and professionalism is off the charts. I have a 100 year old home and installing a central system was not straight forward. Scott and Tim assessed my home and came up with plan that worked with my home’s accessibility. We discussed several options and were able to upgrade much more than just my air conditioning. The team upgraded my power service from 100A to 200A, upgraded the panel, installed 2 independent central heat/air systems with ecobee controls, removed the old radiators, installed an exhaust fan in my bathroom, new water heater AND they rewired my existing radon exhaust (Scott noticed it was improperly wired). Scott made all this happen not far from my original budget. He truly had my best interest in mind and I trusted that he was doing everything possible to stay within my budget. Once we finalized the plans there were no “oh by the way” charges. The team take pride in what they do and are thoughtful and professional. The attention to detail shows in the craftsmanship of their work. It’s immaculate. They made sure things were tidy each day after work. Scott and his team have real integrity. Scott is a trust worthy, straight shooter who knows his trade. Trust level 10!!!! My home just went from 1920 to 2020 thanks to SG Heating & Air. SG responded quickly to my description to a problem from a prior installation of an Aprilaire steam generator humidifier. Although they could have declined to help me, SG sent two experienced and friendly technicians to resolve my problem. So far, it is working much better.
